How do we use cookies?
Like most online services, LumiWed uses both first-party and third-party cookies or similar browser storage for different purposes. Some are necessary to make the Service work, while others help us remember preferences, measure usage, and improve reliability.
This policy covers the LumiWed surfaces that can run cookies or similar storage, including the public website (lumiwed.com), the blog (lumiwed.com/{language}/blog/), the design-system showcase (design.lumiwed.com), the couple dashboard (app.lumiwed.com), and guest-facing wedding sites. Depending on the surface you use, these technologies may support authentication, security, locale and UI preferences, marketing-site analytics, product analytics, advertising and conversion measurement, checkout handoff, and cookie-consent state.
On lumiwed.com and app.lumiwed.com we also use advertising and conversion-measurement technologies, currently Google Ads conversion tracking and a TikTok advertising pixel. They do not store or read cookies on your device unless you accept advertising cookies.
Guest-facing wedding sites are different: they run no advertising technologies and no Google Analytics. They use our own first-party product analytics, which helps us keep the site working well for guests.
The cookie inventory below is the source of truth for what LumiWed itself sets and reads. Because the marketing site, blog, design showcase, dashboard, and guest-facing experience do not always use identical storage keys, treat this table as the canonical list.
Consent and GDPR
If you’re visiting from the European Union, the UK, the wider EEA, Canada, or California, LumiWed shows a cookie consent banner before any optional analytics or advertising technology runs, and treats those technologies as consent-based: until you accept them, they do not store or read cookies on your device. Visitors elsewhere are not shown the banner, and optional analytics/advertising may run by default — you can still open the “Consent Preferences” control below at any time to opt out. Necessary cookies and storage needed for core site operation, security, language handling, sign-in, or checkout run regardless of region or consent.
