These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of LumiWed. By using LumiWed, you agree to these Terms.
If you use LumiWed on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.
Who May Use LumiWed
You may use LumiWed only if you can legally enter into a binding agreement and comply with these Terms and applicable law.
Accounts and Access
Couples may create and manage LumiWed accounts. Guests generally access wedding sites through invitation links or guest tokens rather than full user accounts.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials and access links secure
- Ensuring that information you provide is accurate and up to date
- Activities that occur through your account or management access, unless caused by LumiWed directly
The Service We Provide
LumiWed provides tools to create multilingual wedding websites, manage guest access, collect RSVPs, and present wedding information in multiple languages.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features as the product evolves. Some features may be limited by plan, geography, or launch stage.
User Content
You keep ownership of the content you upload or submit to LumiWed, including text, images, event details, guest lists, and translations you approve.
You grant LumiWed a limited license to host, process, copy, format, translate, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service for you.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content:
- Does not violate the rights of others
- Does not contain unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing material
- Is appropriate for sharing with your guests
Acceptable Use
You may not use LumiWed to:
- Violate the law or the rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user’s data
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform
- Send spam, malicious content, or fraudulent invitations
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the service beyond normal intended use
Payments and Paid Plans
Some LumiWed features may require payment. When you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay the listed price, applicable taxes, and any charges disclosed at checkout.
Third-party payment processors may handle billing and payment card data on our behalf. Their terms and privacy practices also apply to those transactions.
Unless stated otherwise at checkout or in writing, fees are non-refundable once the service has been provisioned.
Availability and Product Changes
We aim to keep LumiWed available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages, and internet failures can affect availability.
Because LumiWed is still evolving, some functionality may change, launch gradually, or be withdrawn.
Termination
You may stop using LumiWed at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, fail to pay required fees, or use the service in a way that could harm LumiWed or others.
If access is terminated, we may delete or disable content and data according to our retention practices and legal obligations.
Disclaimers
LumiWed is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every wedding workflow or legal requirement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LumiWed will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
Where liability cannot be excluded, LumiWed’s total liability will be limited to the amount you paid us for the applicable paid service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and may provide additional notice.
Your continued use of LumiWed after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
