WedSites alternative

Comparing us with WedSites

WedSites is a good all-in-one planner, and if you want budgets, seating charts and vendor checklists in the same tool, it is the better buy. We built something narrower: the wedding website itself, in every language your guests speak, without you doing the translating.

No credit card. Two languages, full site and RSVPs on the free plan.

Where we differ

Four differences worth knowing about

Both platforms let you build a wedding site and collect RSVPs. The difference shows up the moment your guests do not all speak the same language.

Translation is not the top plan

On WedSites, a multilingual website is reserved for their top plan. With us it is the whole point — two languages on the free plan, every language we support on Premium for €59 once.

Edit once, every language follows

WedSites translates your site automatically when you add a language — then the copies go their own way. Their docs are explicit: editing a section in English does not change the Spanish version, and anything you add later has to be duplicated into each language. We keep one wedding. Move the ceremony 30 minutes and only that sentence is re-translated, everywhere.

AI writes the draft, you have the final word

This is not the browser translating your page. Every sentence is translated with your wedding in context — your names, your venue, your tone — checked by a second model, and open for you to rewrite. Anything you edit stays yours and is never overwritten.

Each guest arrives in their language

Guests get a personal link that opens in the language you set for them. The RSVP form and the emails follow the same language — no picking a flag, no wrong-language invitation.

How it works

From nothing to a translated site

  1. 1

    Tell us about the wedding

Answer a guided setup — or just talk to it — and the date, venue, schedule and story land on the page.

  2. 2

    Choose the languages

Pick who you are speaking to. Every section is translated in the background while you keep editing.

  3. 3

    Read it over and publish

Skim each language, fix anything that does not sound like you, then send every guest their personal link.

Questions couples ask us

Is this just machine translation?+

It is AI translation, and we would rather say so plainly. What makes it different from pasting your page into a translator: each sentence is translated with your wedding as context, a second model reviews it before it is saved, and every line is editable in your dashboard. Your corrections are permanent — the next translation run leaves them alone.

What does WedSites do better?+

Planning. Their budget calculator, seating chart, pre-populated checklist, vendor payment reminders and day-of timeline are a real planning suite, and we do not have those. They also auto-translate your site the moment you add a language, they let you add as many languages as you want, and they support gift registry links, which we do not. Their theme catalog is bigger than our 11, too. If those matter more to you than languages, they are the better fit.

How many languages can we publish in?+

Two on the free plan — usually one per family. Premium unlocks every language we support, and adding one later re-translates only what has changed since your last publish.

Do guests need an account or an app?+

No. Each guest gets a personal link. They open it, read everything in their language, and RSVP. No password, no download.

We already started on WedSites. Can we move?+

Yes, but honestly: there is no import button. You copy your text across once, in your own language, and we translate the rest. Most couples do it in an evening — and it is the last time they have to write the same thing twice.
